First Weekend in December - A busy weekend

All weekend I was attending Stroller Strides Instructor training so needless to say I have been worked physically and mentally over. We had workouts in the morning and periodically throughout the day we did more workouts as we learned new muscle groups. It was a great experience and I am looking forward to taking the two exams and beginning my team teaching. Aaron and Ashby had a lot of alone time but they were a busy team - Saturday Aaron took Ashby to the zoo and Sunday they visited Sea World. Ashby had a lot of "daddy time." She loved it!

The Saturday training ended at 4:00 and Aaron and I had plans to visit India Street to see the lighting of Little Italy's Christmas tree. Mitch, Magda, and Xander joined us and we had a great time visiting and watching the children dance. We also ran into another one of Ashby's friends, Lulu, and they enjoyed swaying to the music together. Ashby is totally into Christmas trees, colorful lights, and especially snowmen (very similar to her addiction to pumpkins during Halloween). She knew that the tree was going to light up and she waited patiently on daddy's shoulders. There was a countdown and as you will see in the photo she was in awe. I didn't get to see it but her expression was priceless.

Ahhhh... Christmas Tree Lights. Wow!

Me Chillin - enjoying Ashby's facial expressions

Ashby's hair was the topic of conversation between Aaron and I this weekend. Ashby's hair completely brushed out. No wonder she doesn't like me brushing it. :)

When you say smile Ashby - this is what you get.

Daddy surprised me with pigtails one morning.
