Poppa visits CA with Mimi

Poppa and Mimi arrived last Thursday evening and Poppa left Sunday morning to return to reality - work. Mimi is still in town till Saturday morning which made me very happy. Ashby had no problem warming up to them both and we all have been keeping each other busy.

Ashby loves playing in grown up beds - she thinks the pillows and sheets/comforters are cool. The first thing she did in Poppa and Mimi's hotel room was roll around in the sheets and pillows. Poppa comes over to join in the fun.



And Ashby enjoys pushing and pulling anything that moves. I watch and hold my breath most times because you never know if she is going to topple over or something topples over on her. The age of bumps and scrapes totally stresses me out.

Saturday afternoon we took Ashby out to the hotel pool and she mostly enjoyed playing with the water that Poppa splashed at her. Of course, we had to get the chlorine off our baby's skin so we immediately gave her a bath. She wasn't sure of the bath hoodie.

Ashby was dead set that the only person who could hold her at this time was Poppa. She was stuck to his hip - sorry about your shoulder dad. :)

Poppa doesn't have his black chair but Ashby has her yellow chair. :)



Poppa flies home Sunday morning - back to reality - his passion - teaching. We love you Poppa.
