My third mother's day and my 1st with two children. We visited a friends house in downtown and watched the Air Bull races and Ashby got her first big girl bike.

Ashby had so much fun swimming with her Poppa, daddy, Mimi, and me. She had all of us playing princess and prince in the water. Wherever her imagination went we followed. :)
Some of you may wonder why in the world did she put this photo on her family blog. Well, as some of you know this blog will eventually be in book form by using blurb.com so of course I need to include a picture of my silly side. :)

Later in the evening we visited Mr. A's which is located on 5th and Laurel. It offers great views and martinis. For some reason we decided to take photos of ourselves and work on getting my mom a new avatar. Well, here it is - my mom's new Facebook avatar. :)
On Wednesday, Mimi watched the children while Aaron and I celebrated his company receiving an award for one of the best companies to work for in San Diego. Sarah, the marketing manager, and I holding the award. It felt great being out with other adults and celebrating the success of MindTouch.
