It's Been a Long Time - Revisiting Sea World

It still cracks me up how fast our children grow. The first visit to Sea World Ashby could care less about the horses and now she loves them. Our first visit included the stroller but today she decided to walk (well actually I forgot the strollers in the car) but anyway it worked out well. The playground is being remodeled so we had to walk really far to the replacement playground. I had Ashby dressed in this really cute outfit because I didn't think she would get dirty playing with the foam shapes but the playground that we had to use consisted of dirty wet sand. Oh well, Ashby is a toddler and needs to be able to play like one so I just bit my tongue and let her dive in hands first. Some photos of our adventure to Sea World together, mommy and baby. That is what Ashby says: Mommy, Daddy, and Ashy. Ashy without the "b."

On our Way to the Parking Garage - Ashby loves raisins but really loves them if she has a "little box" to dig into.

Ashby playing in the sand which includes dumping the sand over her clothes after it is halfway filled.

At this moment she is thinking what are those kids doing over there. Today is the first time Ashby purposely moved herself over to a bunch of children playing together. The entire time I am sitting back and letting her develop her independence but at the same time thinking "please be nice to my baby."

Ashby finds a pink camera in the sand and surprised me by knowing exactly how to use it. She starts walking around saying cheese to all the children playing.

I love pine needles - Ashby likes them too.
