It worked out nicely that Mimi was in town so close to Roe's birthday and mine that we celebrated both together at our house a week before the big day. However, on Roe's official birthday we visited Wild Animal Park in Escondido. We had a great time.
Just a video of Ashby and Roe enjoying lunch. Roe loves chicken fingers and especially nuggets from McDonalds. Yes,I let my children have happy meals every once in awhile.

The Rody
Mimi really wanted to buy Roe a horse rocker but when she saw Roe go crazy over the Rody at the children's boutique up the street she could not resist. But when Roe saw the balloon on the window his excitement was short lived.
