Where are we now?

Ashby at 3 1/2 (actually two months away from being four)

* favorite colors are pink and purple
* loves saying, "i have the perfect idea."
* is a princess
* loves to dance and make up songs
* wants to make everything she sees on Noggin - all the crafts and cupcake ideas
* very inquisitive
* stopped taking afternoon naps when Roe was roughly 3 months old
* Ashby has only taken two naps since - Princess on Ice and Halloween
* adores schools, loves making pictures for her friends and putting them in their cubby
* finished her first gymnastics session and is excited about continuing her second session of multi-sport
* we both enjoy playing freeze tag and Simon Says in the front yard
* Ashby's responsibilities are: clean up after your playtime, feed the cats, throw only Roe's pee diapers away, watch Roe while mommy washes the dishes or prepares dinner
* Ashby sleeps with 15 or so items in her bed - flashlight, books, stuffed animals, Snow White barbie doll
* Goes to sleep by 7:00 and usually wakes up by 6:30
* You have a fantastic memory
* we make pizza every Saturday or Sunday
* you really want a Baker Oven, pom poms, and microphone for Christmas
* you always think about your brother - "Roe would like this mommy."
* Everytime we pick you up from school you run towards us screaming, "mommy." You usually give Roe some sort of snuggle before giving me one.
* wear mostly 4T - crocs are your favorite
* love movie weekends - last week we watched Madgascar
* cream cheese is your favorite
* always ask for permission for doing anything
* beautiful everything
* every morning you scream from bed, "mommy or daddy I am awake now." You are usually hiding under the covers and we have to guess where you are and in that case you scream boo.
* you always start the morning with a small glass of milk with Mimi bread or organic plain poptart and usually end with a waffle a couple hours later.
* love to play more than anyone I know. You are the most creative, outgoing, kind hearted, and smartest girl I know.

Roe at 8 1/2 months old

* goes to sleep either at 5:30 or 6:00 and wakes up by 6:00
* has 3 bottles a day
* takes two naps
* enjoys Stroller Strides
* started crawling last week and is officially going everywhere today
* loves his sister, daddy, and finally me. :)
* can't get enough of Obeia, the family cat.
* wishes he could have the entire box of Cheerios
* practices crawling, sitting, standing in bed when he should be napping
* sucks his thumb when he feels anything soft
* sleeps on his side but prefers his stomach
* has curly/fuzzy hair in the back and a comb over on top
* 26 lbs of LOVE
* wears 12 - 18 month clothes
* size 4 diapers
* he has his first diaper rash
* loves baths and especially with Sister
* enjoys eating dinner with Sister - she makes him laugh
* loves people
* in seven days Roe's bottom two and top two teeth came in
* most mellow baby ever - sweetest baby - happy baby - best smile
